Castle Geyser is a cone geyser in the Upper Geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park. It was named for it's large geyserite sinter deposits that formed the cone.which form its cone in a castle like shape. This geyser eruptions in two patterns, a major eruption and a minor eruption. Once a major eruption occurrs, the timing of the next eruption can be predicted within about 60 minutes of a 14 hour cycle. If the last eruption is a minor eruption, there can be no prediction for the next eruption.
